Weymouth-Portland to be specific. We went there for our honeymoon back in 2003 and we've been going there every year since. It reminds me a lot of where I come from in Atlantic Canada.
And there's nothing like being near the ocean to soothe stress. The air is cleaner, people are much more pleasant and the tourist season notwithstanding, its a lot less crowded!

I would love to go to Dorset, I got a fancy for it from watching River Cottage.
We live on the coast, the beach is only a few miles away, but because we are so close to it, we dont go there that often, strange is'nt it, we are just so used to been beside the seaside that it is not a big deal going there any more. |
