I missed this when it started a week or so ago, but I went to bed early last night, feeling a bit crap, and caught it on ITV3 on the bedroom tv.

Its about a couple of middle-aged women who write back and forth to each other, but they talk to the camera at the same time. So you sort of see the letter acted out. Talk about tongue-in-cheek funny. Very Happy I think in another era it would be considered what was known as "drawing room comedy".

Apparently its based on a radio series that starred the fabulously funny Patricia Routledge (Hyacinth Bucket).  This is one I'm going to bookmark to watch now. Here's the website;

Ladies of Letters

Edit: there's books too!

I am recording this, and am going to watch it when the series is finished. It does look funny.  Smile

I have it on DVD. Kev bought it for me a while back.  Very Happy  Ever seen her in the Hetty Wainthrope Investigates series? Total departure from her Hyacinth character and very good.
