I know every dog has his/her own quirks. My dog Sprocket has some annoying ones.

It's a chore to clean the lawn--which I do every other day or so. Sprocket never seems to stay still when doing his business--ever since he was a puppy--pooing/peeing he keeps walking! Even in his old age, he's still an active, hyper dog. So cleaning up after him is like going on an Easter egg hunt--never any neat piles of landmines that are easily spotted...*sigh* Ph don't get me started on the times he's done his business in the house---not just a spot there on the carpet, but trails of pee sometimes going up or down the stairs...Luckily I've invested in a good steam cleaner.

When he eats, he takes huge mouthfuls of dry food and then "spit's it out on the floor so eats it there. Sometimes he doesn't finish it so there's bits of kibble on the floor. Drives me crazy sometimes.

Any of your dogs do this? Or is mine just kinda psycho--not 'bored', as stated to me once, just strange like this.

Our Scrappy, instead of taking huge mouthfuls of food, takes huge mouthfuls of water and walks around with it in his mouth, letting huge drips fall all over the floor, so I am constantly going around with my mop! Mrs Mop, lol.  Very Happy

LOL, with water? I've never seen that. Our twelve year old dog likes to bring bits of kibble into the living room so he can be near us while he chews it. Then he goes back and gets a few more. He never leaves any behind.

My husband and I laugh at everything he does.  We nudge each other and say "Honey, honey look! He's doing it again!" We even find it funny when he suddenly decided to get up in the middle of chewing a bone and trots into the kitchen for some water. My husband will say "Shh!" and perk up his ears to listen to the sound of Casey slurping up water.

Why does this amuse us so much? I don't know, we're huge dorks. But Casey is a small dog so he's never a huge pain, and he's such a sweetheart (and old and quirky and sometimes grumpy) we love him so.

Ahhh, bless, your dog sounds lovely. I love animals, even when they are been naughty, they have the ability to make you laugh.  Smile
